From CSEC2017 Curricular Guidelines:

The CSEC2017 Joint Task Force (JTF) on Cybersecurity Education was officially launched in September 2015 as a collaboration between major international computing societies: Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), IEEE Computer Society (IEEE CS), Association for Information Systems Special Interest Group on Security (AIS SIGSEC), and International Federation for Information Processing Technical Committee on Information Security Education (IFIP WG 11.8).
The CSEC2017 JTF is an outcome of the Cyber Education Project (CEP). The CEP initiative was organized in July 2014 by a group of computing professionals who represented a diverse cross-section of academic institutions and professional societies. The CEP mission was two-fold: to initiate the processes for (1) developing undergraduate curricular guidance; and (2) establishing a case for the accreditation of educational programs in the “Cyber Sciences.”
